The Brera Academy of Fine Arts is pleased to present the exhibition titled “Summer Storm” — Emerging Expressions: Beyond the Boundaries of the Academy — an event spread across several Milan galleries, which aims to highlight the talent and creativity of students who represent the future of contemporary art, a significant and interesting group exhibition that wishes to support its young pupils and thus potential emerging artists. The exhibitions will take place at: Galleria Gaburro, Galleria Giovanni Bonelli, Candy Snake Gallery, Mimmo Scognamiglio Artecontemporanea, Progettoarte Elm, and will offer the public the unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the creative, vibrant and constantly evolving artistic world of the educational and expressive research carried out in the Department of Visual Arts at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts. This exclusive event represents a platform for Brera’s talented students, offering them the opportunity to showcase the fruits of their research, their experiences and their commitment to the field of contemporary art. The “Summer Storm” exhibition celebrates the value and originality of the artworks of young artists emerging from the Academy. Each exhibited work is a unique exploration of themes, concepts and artistic techniques, reflecting the diversity of the students’ individual perspectives. The exhibition will encompass a wide range of artistic disciplines, including painting, sculpture, photography, installations and digital art, thus creating a vivid and engaging panorama of contemporary art. The organisation and curation of the exhibitions are by teachers Marco Casentini and Dany Vescovi with the collaboration of Alberto Mattia Martini, who have carefully selected the works to ensure an exhibition that best represents the vitality and originality of the proposals. It will be a unique opportunity to discover new talents, and the artists will have the opportunity to present their research to a wide audience of art enthusiasts, critics and collectors.
